The Gresley Reserve Team management are holding two trial evenings at the Shobnall Leisure Complex, Burton on Trent on the 22nd and 24th of June 7pm start for all local players who may wish to join the Reserve Team for the new season.
Gresley FC are pleased to announce some changes to the management line up for the 2010-2011 season which involve the first and reserve team. Martyn Rowntree is stepping up from reserve team manager to replace Simon Van-de-Broucke as first team coach whilst former Stapenhill manager Justin Goodchild has been appointed as reserve team manager.
Elvis Gresley the mascot of Gresley FC has a new sponsor. Jon Paul Burnton of Jon Paul menswear has agreed to become shirt sponsor of the popular mascot for the next couple of seasons, up to the end of the 2011/12 season.

The Captain of Gresley FC, Carl Slater, has turned down an offer from Mickleover Sports to stay with the Moatmen for a ninth season.
Gresley begin their FA Cup journey with an away trip to Deeping Rangers of the Hereward Teamwear United Counties Premier Division on Saturday 14th August in the Extra Preliminary Round.
Another of the players who made a big impression during Gresley FC's first season is back with the club for 2010/2011.
Gresley's planned friendly against Pershore Town on Tuesday night has been cancelled.

After the disappointment of this week's FA Cup exit, manager Gary Norton has some positive news for supporters after tonight completing the signing of 6ft 4ins experienced central defender Barry Woolley.

Striker David Blenkinsopp could feature in tomorrow's game at the Moat Ground against Ellistown after his injury, collected at Graham Street Prims, does not look as bad as first thought. Manager Gary Norton will wait until tomorrow to see if his front man is fit to play.

Former Burton Albion, Ilkeston Town and Altrincham midfielder Danny Holmes has signed for the club this week. Holmes (23) signed on Thursday after mutually agreeing his release from Conference club Altrincham at the end of last month.

It comes as no surprise that tomorrow's FA Vase game against Bustleholme at the Moat Ground has been postponed due to the snow and freezing conditions.
Should Gresley overcome Bustleholme in the 3rd Round they are drawn at home again against Epsom & Ewell or one of the Vase favourites St Neots Town as the draw goes national.
With the Moat Ground still covered in snow and the temperature set to plunge even further, Tuesday's game against Bustleholme has been postponed.
Gresley are hoping that tomorrow's FA Vase 3rd goes ahead after the recent thaw that has got rid of most of the snow locally. However, there will be the problem of all the excess water soaking into the pitch. Should the game not go ahead the two sides will try again on Tuesday evening.
Unfortunately, tomorrow's FA Vase game at the Moat is off due to a frozen/waterlogged pitch.

Youth teamers Josh Pearson, Will Simpson, Callum McBride and Jamie Davies aswell as reserve teamer Alex Rowland have all been called up the 1st team squad for tonight's trip to Glossop North End in the Derbyshire Cup 3rd round 7-45pm.

Brothers Tom and Adam Betteridge both return to the squad after missing the previous game due to a stag weekend.
Checks will have to be made as to the fitness of both Barry Woolley and Rob Spencer. Woolley sustained a nasty head injury very early in the game on Saturday at St Andrews and Rob Spencer had to be replaced in the same match with 10 minutes remaining due to a slight heel problem.
