His versatility meant he was a very useful member of the squad. His contributions helped the club finish second in the league and reach the quarter finals of the FA Vase.
The Manager of Gresley FC, Gary Norton, said, "We have been speaking to Gareth (Langford) for sometime during the course of preseason as I wanted him to register although I accept he won't be available for every training session and fixture."
"Gareth has developed as a person, since I first got to know him, and has matured into a good player at this level. He is someone I want to be part of the clubs plans."
Gareth Langford, added, "After enjoying last season I wanted to return however I have set myself quite a challenge to qualify as a teacher. This involves a lot of commitment to studying on my part and will also involve some Saturdays but I will give Gresley whatever time I can and hope people understand I have a wife and a young child in addition to work as well as studying."
