Deeping Rangers Pre-Match News
Gresley manager Gary Norton will have to make the choice of who leads his front line for tomorrow's FA Cup Extra Preliminary game at Deeping Rangers.
Norton's main striker Royce Turville is out of the match with a calf injury to add to his existing injury which is a concern to his manager.Fellow striker Lee Sutton is away on holiday and Richard Hanslow is still in need of match time so that leaves Rob Spencer as the only recognised forward fully fit.
Norton has boosted his striking options by last night signing Liam Hebberd from Bardon Hill (subject to the completion of the necessary paperwork). However, the new recruit is still serving a three game suspension picked up at the end of last season.
Oliver Hancock, who has impressed during pre-season, has resumed training after suffering an injury and could be on the bench along with Billy Nugent especially as seven substitutes are allowed to be named in FA Cup games.
Matt Hill are absent due to holidays and Rhys Powell is out with an ongoing injury which Norton admits will means the player will possibly only be used if needed this season.
