Gresley will play the winners of Brocton v Cadbury Athletic away in the Preliminary Round of the FA Cup due to be played on 19th August.
Gresley begin their 2017-2018 season with a trip to the North-East Lincolnshire coast to take on league newcomers Cleethorpes Town on Saturday 12th August.
It is sad to report that Gresley FC coach Chris Gowan's father sadly died in the early hours of this morning (Wednesday).
Our thoughts and deepest condolences go to Chris, his family and friends at this time.

Gresley will have to make the long midweek trip to league rivals Spalding Utd in the Integro League Challenge Cup First Round scheduled to be played on Tuesday 17th October.
The Club can confirm that Courtney Meade has returned to Gresley after spells at Stamford and Barwell and is eligible to play at Cleethorpes on Saturday.
Courtney played for Barwell in Tuesday's pre-season friendly.
Not going to Cleethorpes? Then why not pop up to the Moat to watch the Reserves in their final pre-season friendly - 3pm. They are playing Bardon Hill who are managed by former Moatman Richard Hanslow.
Last season's Player's Player, Supporters'Player and joint top scorer Reece Morris has returned to Gresley after stepping up a level to sign for Grantham in pre-season.
Morris is now registered with the league and available for selection.

Gresley share the August Fair Play award in the Evo-Stik NPL Division One South with Cleethorpes Town, Corby Town and Lincoln United with all teams having identical discipline records.
With Basford still in the FA Cup we will now be playing Peterborough Sports away on 30th September brought forward from January.

Today, October 14th marked a special day for Gresley FC's captain Jamie Barrett as he beat the 13-year-old record held by Gresley Rivers legend 'sir' Richard Wardle of 624 games in a Gresley shirt.
Gresley have been drawn at home against Basford United in the 2nd round of the Integro League Cup.

Gresley Reserves have been drawn at home in the Derbyshire County FA Divisional Cup South against Mickleover Sports Reserves.

Gresley FC have signed winger Oliver Bassett on a short term loan until the 29th December from Coalville Town.
There will be a pitch inspection at the Moat Ground at 11am for our home Reserve team game against Mickleover Sports Reseserves in the semi-final of the Derbyshire Divisional Cup South.
Today's first team game away at Carlton has been postponed. The reserve game at the Moat Ground has also been called off due to the weather.
Gresley FC will be accepting donations of tinned and packet food along with bagged sweets at their game against Cleethorpes Town on Saturday 16th December.

Today's game at Alvechurch didn't kick off due to home supporter suffering a heart attack. Thankfully, some quick responses from the Alvechurch people using their defibrillator gave the gentleman a good chance of surviving the trauma.
The responsibility was handed over to the air ambulance crew who had landed on the pitch and they were joined by the paramedics of a land ambulance.
But, for the quick actions of the Alvechurch volunteers, the outcome could have been tragic.
Everyone at Gresley are thinking of the victim and his family and hoping for a successful outcome.

Gresley FC are pleased to announce that goalkeeper Callum Hawkins will remain with the club until the end of the season.
The young stopper has made an impact since joining the club in early October and the club are very pleased that Callum will be staying.

The groundsmen have worked really hard during the week on a troublesome area of the pitch in the top penalty area which is drying out slowly at the moment.
Despite some sterling work this week by the groundsmen the overnight rain has scuppered all their hard work and today's game at the Moat against Spalding is OFF.
Again the weather has beaten the Reserves game at Mickleover Sports as Mickleover's pitch is waterlogged. A new date is yet to be arranged.

Gresley FC have signed midfielder Shawn Richards. Shawn has played for Loughborough Dynamo, Stamford AFC, Rugby Town, Rushden & Diamonds, Soham and Quorn. He was also on Northamton Town's books as a Youth Team player.
The continuing wet weather has meant that Carlton Town will be having a pitch inspection tomorrow (Saturday) morning.

Corby has informed us that this afternoon's game is on. They did have a slight dusting of snow early this morning and as long as the weather does not deteriorate the match will go ahead.
Unfortunately, even after some sterling work from the ground staff and volunteers over the last couple of days, the weather has beaten us again so the game at home against Spalding has had to be postponed due to a waterlogged area of the pitch.

It comes as no surprise that after the torrential overnight downpour our trip to Loughborough has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
The recently postponed game at the Moat against Carlton Town has been arranged for Thursday 19th April - 7.45pm
After yesterday's rain, there will be a pitch inspection at 11am which is the only time we could get a suitably qualified referee to the Moat.
Also, an early inspection is needed due to the distance our visitors Cleethorpes have to travel.
Disappointingly, the pitch has not recovered sufficiently from the heavy rain yesterday with the troublesome area still sodden so tonight's game has sadly been postponed.
The league have moved quickly to re-arrange our postponed home game against Cleethorpes.
It will now be played on Monday 16th April the day before we play Loughborough away!

At a board meeting held at the club's Moat Ground home last night Mark Alflat was confirmed as the clubs new Chairman on a permanent basis.
15 years after first being appointed manager at the Moat Ground Gary Norton was last night re-appointed as the clubs manager.
Goals from Kane Lee, Josh Dutton (2) and Albert Lansdowne saw Greskey Reserves complete the League and Trophy double for the second season running.
