Barrett Ends Gresley Reign
Gresley's player with the most appearances has decided to leave the club.
After a long and hard season and i have now had chance to reflect on my playing career which has spanned almost 17 years all at Gresley Football Club. This has resulted in me attaining the record number of appearances for both Gresley teams.
I feel that the time is now right for me to move on with today being my last in a gresley shirt.
I still intend to play football at some level but I am not sure at this time where this will be.
I would like to thank all officials at Gresley Football club, the supporters club, loyal fans and team mates who have been supportive to me over my playing career.
Gresley F.C. will always be in my heart but I hope you respect my decision to leave.
Thank you all so much and please continue to support the club.
Baz
