Stan Crockett
It is with sadness that we have to report the death of Stan Crockett this afternoon (Saturday) at Netherhall Nursing Home in Swadlincote.
Stan was for many years a committee member and director of the former club Gresley Rovers and could also be found working on the Moat Ground before leaving with his wife Peggy to live in Spain. If Stan and Peggy were back in the UK and Gresley had a home match they both could be found walking around the ground catching up with old friends.
Gresley FC send their deepest condolences to Peggy, Mark and all their family and friends at this time.
