Brian left to sign for Stapenhill February 1988 but returned to Gresley August 1989.
He again left Gresley for Stapenhill January 1991 only to return April 1991 initially on loan before completing his move.

With Shepshed he won a Leicestershire Senior Cup medal, with Dudley Town a Southern League Midland Division League championship medal.
Brian won a Leicestershire Senior League championship, Tebbutt Brown Cup and Derbyshire Senior Cup runners-up medals.
With Gresley Derbyshire Senior Cup, Banks's League Championship and FA Vase runners-up medals.
Brian and his wife moved to Trusthorpe near Mablethorpe a few years ago and have since moved the short distance to Maltby le Marsh.
