We were away to Overseal today, and being honest it was a game we should of won. That's not being disrespectful to Overseal, that's being honest and truthful.

We started off very, very well we played all the football, and for the first 30 minutes we dominated things. Lee Baillee had put us ahead, but we never really punished them (I'd spoke about certain things before the game) but we "switched off".

Chris Smith did well to head off our line so the signs were there, and we were found out minutes later when Overseal drew level. With 10 minutes to go until half time Overseal could have added another (and probably should have).

Second half we'd spoke about certain things, but the lads had decided that "they'd done enough" which I find totally unacceptable. The workrate wasn't there from some.

We went 2-1 down, and being honest we deserved it, because we were leaving things to others. We relied on others to make up for mistakes.

With 15 minutes gone we made our first change, replacing Tom Fletcher for Nigel Brewin, and we still looked shaky. We then replaced Joe Tomlin for Dave Hatfield but a bit of fortune gave Overseal a 3-1 lead.

As we tried to get into the game we'd let slip, we played nice football, but our heads had dropped. With 15 minutes remaining we made our last substitution replacing Danny Gee for Dan Woodings. This was tactical leaving three at the back and pushing three up front.

Lee Baille got us a "consolation goal" but although we ran them ragged, they deserved their win.

We tried to blame things after the final whistle, the ref, the pitch, everything but the truth, the fact we thought things would be easy and they weren't.

It's a lesson that we need to learn, everyone wants to beat us, but more importantly today we beat ourselves. If we don't work we'll get found out, that's the truth!!!

We'll learn from it, we'll work on our weaknesses, but today was a lesson that if we don't work then we'll lose.

Blunt I know, but today Overseal worked harder (like they did at home) and we need to listen to certain concerns. Yes when we're good we ARE GOOD, but when we're LAZY WE GET found out.

So lets get the workrate right, and things will be okay, but we really should be looking up the league table and today we wasn't.

MOM: Lee Baille 2 great goals, and hopefully a lot more to come, because the quality is there for all to see.
