Hinckley United vs Gresley Rovers
Kitch
back on goal trail
Striker
Neil Kitching marked his comeback from a broken leg
with two first half goals in Gresley reserves' 4-1
Challenge Bowl Group A win at Hinckley.
Triallist
Gavin Lewis, a former Notts County and Barnsley midfielder,
went close early on for Rovers but Hinckley went ahead
on seven minutes through Gary Rickett's header.
Rovers
equalised in the 20th minute when Kitching fired a
25-yard fee kick into the top corner.
Four
minutes later Kitching headed in Paul Grant's cross
to put Rovers ahead.
Rovers
increased their lead on 35 minutes, Justin Tyrell
lobbing Green after breaking clear onto Lewis Millington's
through ball.
The
fourth goal came four minutes into the second half,
Kevin Wagstaff converting Grant's corner.
Rovers'
second-string entertain Ilkeston Town reserves on
Wednesday (7.30pm) in the Challenge Trophy second
round.
