Newmount Rovers vs Gresley Rovers
The Reserves played in their annual PSF against Newmount Rovers a team from the Midland Regional Alliance, this is the 3rd season in a row we have played each other pre-season and what is always a good test for us, as Newmount have been together as a squad now for at least the last 5 years. Unfortunately for us we were beaten by a late goal this year, 2-1 the eventual score, our scorer being Micky Sandar.
The plus points were that i got to look at a lot of new lads, and signs are promising for the up coming season. I've secured the signing of about 8 new players in the last week or so, so a new younger looking reserves will be on show this season.
