A Coalville Swifts right-half who made exactly half of his sporadic Leicester Fosse appearances between January 1917 and January 1918 in Charlie's company.
Having had pre-war spells with Gresley Rovers and Long Eaton Rangers, Sid later returned to Gresley (from 1919), then played for Stableford's from 1920.
He joined Coalville again and Ibstock Colliery (where he featured haplessly in the 0-22 Senior Cup slaughter by City Reserves in 1924).
