Rovers defend trophy

Gresley Rovers play their third cup tie in a week when they take on Stourport Swifts in the Banks’s Brewery League Cup quarter finals at the Moat Ground tomorrow (3pm).
Having been in action in the FA Vase last Saturday and the Evans Halshaw Cup on Tuesday night, Rovers go out to defend the trophy they won last season.Keeper Bob Aston is recalled to the squad after having a pin removed from a broken thumb. Tony Moore moves down to the reserves for their trip to Oldbury United Reserves in the Banks’s League Division Two fixture.
