Gresley Rovers hope to leap to the top of the table when they return to Banks’s League action at the Moat Ground tonight (7.30pm).
Rovers will take over pole position from Lye Town if they can beat Premier Division newcomers Pelsall Villa. The game could signal the return of striker Brian Beresford after a lengthy lay-off through a calf muscle injury.
Beresford is back in contention after successfully coming through two reserve team outings.
With midfielders Richard Denby and Stuart Stokes also on the mend, Northwood has the strongest squad available again as Rovers attempt to obliterate the memory of a 3-1 defeat at Oldbury.
