Maddocks says no to Hinckley

Gresley striker Andy Maddocks has turned down the chance to join title rivals Hinckley Town.
Manager Frank Northwood said this morning: “Hinckley put seven days in for Andy yesterday but although he’s had an unhappy time with injuries since he joined us he wants to stay till the end of the season at least.“He’s one of the honest guys of football and we respect him. He’s got something like 17 goals this season and that’s a hell of a contribution.”
