Holders Gresley Rovers will face local rivals Stapenhill in a Derbyshire Senior Cup semi-final showdown at Edge Hill.
The Moatmen, who are course for a hat trick of wins, will have to overcome the team that gave then a stern test in last years thrilling two-leg final.The Swans scored a surprise 1-0 win at the Moat Ground last time out before surrendering the cup to two Gresley goals in the second leg.
Those two games attracted a total of 2,800 fans and with both Rovers and Stapenhill, currently top of their respective leagues, another big crowd is ensured.
Both teams would probably preferred to have postponed their encounter until the final again this season but will have the consolation of a guaranteed big pay-day.
In the other half of the draw the winner’s of tonight’s replay between Belper and Buxton will be at home to Matlock Town – the conquerors of Newhall United.
Rovers’ boss Frank Northwood awaits fitness checks on John Bottomley and Wayne Scally before naming his side for tonight’s Moat Ground clash with Alfreton Town in the Evans Halshaw floodlit competition (7.30pm).
