Gresley Rovers have been urged to keep up their winning form – despite taking a break from their Banks’s League programme tomorrow.
Rovers visit North West Counties League side Chadderton in the FA Cup preliminary round and manager Frank Northwood said last night: “It’s important to keep winning. Although we’re taking a break from our league programme, we must keep up our winning habit – especially as there’s a super draw at home to Whitton Albion waiting if we can win tomorrow.”Northwood is expected to keep an unchanged side from that which beat Millfields 4-1 on Monday.
If tomorrow’s match ends in a draw there will be a replay at the Moat Ground on Tuesday, kick off 7.45pm.
