Moat Ground
Frank McArdle

Frank McArdle

As part of a new drive to meet grading requirements for a return to the Dr. Martens Premier Division, fans are to get the chance to buy their favourite corner of the ground.
Frank McArdle, who is spear heading this plan, said "The club is asking people, individuals, companies, whatever - to buy a piece of the ground which will then bear their name for this season. When that piece of ground is replaced as part of improvements to the stadium their name will be prominently displayed anew on the replacement area. In that way they will have contributed not only to publicising their name or the name of their company, but also to the progress of Gresley Rovers. The club has got to have ambition and that ambition has got to be to achieve whatever is necessary at the Moat Ground to make eventual promotion possible". Frank said he has already received numerous offers of physical help from people prepared to assist with work at the ground.
Anyone interested in "buying" part of the ground contact Frank McArdle at Gresley Rovers. All prices are negotiable, giving an opportunity for the entire ground to be sponsored.
