Gresley Rovers caretaker boss Alan Titterton has urged fans to be patient as he looks for his third victory in four games at Rugby United tomorrow (3pm).
Since the Moat Ground reserve chief took over from Brian Kenning, Rovers have beaten Rocester and Hinckley United in cup competitions but he has yet to score a league win following last week's 2-1 home defeat by Weston-super-Mare.

Titterton knows Rugby will provide a stern test and hopes Rovers fans do not expect too much.

Said Titterton: "It is not going to be easy and the lads have got to lift themselves. But they have won two out of three - I just hope the supporters don't expect things to be turned around in a couple of weeks."

Titterton will give a debut to goalkeeper Phil McGring, while striker Justin O'Reilly starts.

Meanwhile, Rovers' injury problems are beginning to clear, with goalkeeper Richard Selby set to play for the reserves tomorrow, while Carl Middleton and Karl Reynolds both trained last night.

Richie Gardner is hoping to be back in action by Boxing Day but is to have a scan on his hamstring injury.

Gresley from: McGring, Broadhurst, Bluck, Warren, Cheetham, Allum, Wardle, Peters, Tucker, O'Reilly, Sidhu, Allsop, Coates, Roberts, Baldwin.
