Gresley Rovers boss Frank Northwood is ready to dip into the transfer market to revive his side’s Banks’s League title challenge.
Northwood, still reeling after Tuesday’s crushing 4-0 defeat at Hinckley Town, revealed last night that he is still having talks with Halesowen Town midfielder Peter Sturgess.“That’s one area in which we’re definitely lacking at the moment,” said Northwood. “We didn’t show a lot of character at Hinckley. It was most disappointing.”
The much-travelled Sturgess has played for Northwood before – at Wolverhampton United and also lists Wilenhall Town among his former clubs.
