Gresley Rovers boss Frank Northwood hopes to parade two new signings in the Moat Ground clash with Banks’s League neighbours Hinckley Athletic on Monday (11am).
Definitely in Rovers’ squad is midfielder Keith Evans, the latest in a long line of players snapped up by Northwood from Oldbury United. And Gresley could also include utility player Michael Guest as they attempt to keep a grip on top spot in the Premier Division.
Guest is currently registered with Beazer Homes Midland Division outfit Halesowen Town, but Northwood is hoping the Black Country side will waive the normal seven days notice of approach, thus allowing Gresley to complete the move in time for Hinckley’s visit.
Fullback Martin Dick returns to the side after completing a suspension. He takes over from Dave Beattie.
Rovers are hoping to attract a four-figure crowd as they attempt to put behind them the disappointment of their FA Vase defeat at the hands of Tamworth last Saturday.
