Bilston resign
Bilston Town have resigned from the Dr Martens League Western Division owing to the winding-up order hanging over their heads from Wolverhampton City Council.
Bilston's chairman Roger Williams is in dispute with the city council over unpaid rent and rates that were accumulated before he took charge at Queen Street. Williams has already been in touch with the West Midlands League where they could well be operating next season.
Rocester have been informed that they will not be relegated from the Dr Martens Western Division.
A Rocester official said that they were awaiting a letter confirming their position but have been told by telephone that they have been reprieved.
Craig Weston, a former Gresley favourite who last played at the Moat Ground in Richard Wardle's testimony a couple of weeks ago has left Belper Town.
Weston was asked to step in as caretaker manager in January when their manager was relieved of his position after the Nailers had dropped to third bottom and faced relegation from the Unibond League.
Under Weston's management Belper finished 11 points clear of relegation but the club officials decided they needed an experienced manager. Weston has been replaced by Gary Marrow.
