As part of the role you will be responsible for :
• recruitment of your back room staff
• Appraisal of current squad
• Introduction of appropriate level players
• Working within an agreed budget
• Organisation of pre-season training and friendlies ahead of new season
• Support around club events and initiatives

Additional key criteria:

1. Gresley Rovers FC has a successful youth development programme, and the first team manager would play an active role in ensuring our youth players are developed and promoted into senior football. The ideal candidate will need to demonstrate the skills to encourage “home grown” talent which would be integrated into an experienced squad of players.

2. Previous experience of managing at Step 5 or above is essential as is a strong knowledge of the local football scene.

3. The role will also include a strong line of communication with the reserves and under 18 management teams to ensure the player pathway is fruitful each season.

4. This is an exciting era for Gresley Rovers FC and one which is re-setting the clubs “on the field” profile in a structured and sustainable way.
