Thatcher was signed earlier this week from Belper United after impressing Rovers’ manager James Jepson while starring for Belper in their 2-1 defeat a fortnight ago. Carr joins from Melton Town and brings further leadership and experience to the squad.more...
Central defender Elwalid Elhaghany, man of the match on his debut against Belper Town, looks to be ruled out with a hamstring issue, while Jack Andrews and Liam Kavanagh are also doubtful having been down with illness all week. Alby Lansdowne is also very doubtful with a shoulder injury.
Despite concerns surrounding some key players, Jepson remains in positive mood ahead of the game, saying: "The injury and illness news isn't ideal at all, but we can get down about it or deal with it, and we will deal with it and give our all in a very difficult fixture."
