Commenting on the new addition, Rovers manager James Jepson said, “With Bozzie (Jack Bostock) facing what looks to be a lengthy spell on the sidelines with a knee injury and Louis Anthony already recovering from surgery, we had to act quickly to bring in reinforcements.”
Jepson added, “Elwalid has been working his way back from injury and needs game time to prepare for Step 4 action. Meanwhile, we need cover, so this move works well for both parties. I’d like to thank Gary Drake at Shepshed Dynamo for his help in facilitating this deal.”
In other news goalkeeper Harvey Adams has decided to leave the club after being left out of the starting lineup against Ashby Ivanhoe.
