Saturday's trip to Rugby Borough will be another very tough encounter for Rovers, with their hosts top of the league having won all 5 of their league games to date.

In team news, Carl Abbots' squad will be missing Louis Anthony (concussion protocols) whilst Alex Brittain continues to be absent due to holiday. The impressive Osaze Okuonghae is also unavailable due to a pre-planned holiday until next week, so he will miss both fixtures over the bank holiday weekend.

However, Abbots' squad is boosted by some further new arrivals who will all be available for selection: Jude Collins, Tristan Burke, and Arlee Greet have all joined the club this week. Jude Collins is a left-sided winger, having recently come out of the professional game with Shrewsbury Town. Tristan Burke is a centre-forward, and Arlee Greet an attacking central midfielder. All three players featured throughout pre-season and in early-season fixtures at step 3 with Barwell.

New addition Michael Townsend will finally make his debut after narrowly missing the signing deadline to be eligible for last week's FA Cup clashes. In addition, Captain Alby Lansdowne and forward Kane Lee return from holiday to be available for selection.

Unfortunately, Jamie Sleigh is unavailable for the trip to Rugby, with Jordi Gough also sidelined due to an injury sustained on Tuesday evening in our FA Cup exertions. Jack Andrews and Danny Munday may also require a fitness test to establish their fitness following enforced withdrawals on Tuesday evening.

Finally, Fin Barker continues to recover from a minor fracture of the foot and his recovery will be assessed over the next week or two.
