Gresley eyes are on the weather

Gresley Rovers were today keeping one eye on the weather on the eve of their historic FA Vase fifth round clash with Yorkshire-based Emley at the Moat Ground (3pm).
The Gresley pitch was waterlogged earlier this week and the outcome of two planned pitch inspections today and tomorrow rests on the amount of rain in the area.Rovers boss Frank Northwood names a 14-man squad for a game which club officials confidently expect will attract a four-figure crowd.
Emley chief Gerry Quinn also names 14 but full back Steve Fielding, who has a knee injury, will give up his place to reserve player Mick Farrar if he fails a late fitness test.
