Gresley Rovers’ supremo Frank Northwood is planning an FA Vase summit meeting with Bridgnorth boss Ken Jones this week as he prepares a Moat Ground ambush for highflying Emley.
Jones’ Beazer Homes League Midland Division side were thrashed 6-0 by the Yorkshire outfit in a fourth round replay on Thursday evening to book their trip to Gresley.Northwood said: “I’ve already had a quick chat with Ken but I will be meeting him this week for a more detailed run down. He’s already told me that the scoreline really flattered Emley. He says they are very strong up-front but do have weaknesses at the back.”
Northwood will have midfielder Joe Jackson available again after suspension and will bring back John Bottomley for the cup-tied Dean Page.
