The voting for the supporters choice of new playing kits for next season run by the Supporters Club is complete with the and the designs for the kits for next season is finalised.
The Red Kit voting was pretty close with the final choice which contains the Gresley ermine imprinted both within the shirt and on the sleeve getting 38% of the votes. The next nearest choice (all red) was pretty close ending up with 33% of the final votes. The Blue kit choice was much more clear cut with the winning design getting over 60% of the votes with the next nearest choice (all blue) coming in at 20% of the votes.Speaking about the voting outcome Supporter Club Chairman Steve Shrive commented, "Whilst I've been a big fan of the current home and away kits, it is ready for an upgrade after 3 full seasons. The polls we ran reached over 1,000 people with a large number of supporters voting, which was great to see. We also had some valuable feedback on what supporters might want to see for our next renew in two seasons time which we will use going forward. I hope our everyone will be happy with the chosen designs and look forward to seeing them worn with pride by both our teams and of course our many supporters both home and away."
