Pre match news - Loughborough Dynamo
Gresley Rovers go into the weekends game at the Moat Ground against neighbours Loughborough Dynamo (3pm kick off) looking to bounce back from a frustrating defeat at the hands of Walsall Wood last Saturday. The Moatmen are sitting 3rd bottom in the table and remain in relegation trouble and will be looking for maximum points to help their cause. However they face a strong Loughborough side needing the points themselves as they are currently 5th in the table and in the play off places. When the sides met in the reverse fixture earlier in the season Loughborough ran out 4-2 winners but needed goals in the 90th and 95th minute to secure the win.

Manager Marc Stryzewski will be without the option of Chris Jones due to an abdomen muscle injury and also Alby Lansdowne who announced he was leaving the club earlier this week. His squad however is boosted by the return of Burton Albion duo Cameron Gilbert and Charlie Knowles who are both available again having been missing from last week's squad ahead of an important FA Youth Cup tie against Tottenham Hotspur at the Pirelli Stadium in midweek. Both Gilbert and Knowles started the match in which the young Brewers lost 3-1 and are so both are again available to resume their work experience loan at the Moat Ground.More...
A precautionary pitch inspection has been planned for 11am but given the improved forecast overnight following freezing temperatures over the last few days its hoped that this wont be needed.
Finally, the club have experienced issues this week with its card payment system and so anyone planning to attend the game may wish to ensure they have cash available for entry, canteen or bar service just in case.
