Hot shot Acklam

Paul Acklam played another starring role as Gresley veterans continued their good form in the Umbro national tournament with a 4-1 victory over Kingsway at the Moat Ground on Wednesday night.
Acklam, a member of the team which played in the 1991 FA Vase final at Wembley, hit a first half hat-trick as Gresley raced into a 4-0 half time lead with midfielder Gary Stevens adding his name to the score sheet.The Derby side came back into the match in the second half but had to settle for a Rob Measures consolation goal.
