Supporters Update Following Recent Fans Forum
Further to the recent Fans Forum and media coverage and to keep everyone updated on the way forward with our New Ground Development, I would like to outline some steps that we are taking as a club and to share how we would like your support to enable us to achieve our ambition of the move.
Whilst it may not have been the news you all wanted to hear at the Fans Forum, I hope we shared an open and transparent view of where we are with the ground development and what is needed to help us move forward as we continue with our current planning application as well as now looking to seek an alternative option should one be needed.It is with that in mind that we will be launching our “New Ground Fundraising” initiatives in the weeks ahead. There will be lots of ways that you can get involved and become a valuable contributor to the club’s new ground and support us with the many costs involved along the way that the club will need to outlay moving forward.
As part of the fundraising initiatives we will be producing a barometer scale which will show what monies we need to raise to support each stage of the New Ground Development moving forward and what monies raised through our fundraising activities will pay for in a clear and transparent manner.
Please keep your eyes open on our social media channels in the coming weeks and please share with friends, family or work colleagues as every bit of fundraising will help.
