Rovers do it in style

Gresley Rovers are preparing in style for tomorrow’s FA Vase journey into the unknown.
For the first time in their history, Rovers will make an overnight stay – at Great Yarmouth – before completing the trip to Ipswich, where they meet RSSC Ransomes in the Third Round (1.30pm).And manager Frank Northwood believes that Gresley’s professional approach will pay dividends.
“It’s important that the boys get the chance to relax, although I’ll be making sure that none of them sneak out of our hotel for a night on the town,” said the Gresley boss.
“We’ve had Ransomes watched by chairman Peter Hall and he thinks we can get the right result if our attitude id right. It’s their biggest game ever and they might freeze, just as we did at Warrington last season. That experience should stand us in good stead.”
