Frank gets that Wembley feeling

Gresley Rovers boss Frank Northwood believes attention to detail could be the key to FA Vase success.
Northwood plans to leave nothing to chance as he prepares for his team’s trip to meet Suffolk club Ransomes on December 12th.“We’re looking forward to the tie, but we’ll be taking nothing for granted,” said the veteran Moat Ground chief after yesterday’s Third Round draw had paired his Banks’s Premier Division leaders against the Suffolk Senior League champions.
“I’ll be having them watched and hope to arrange for the team to travel down on the Friday so we can be thoroughly prepared. Winning the league title is still our main aim – there’s nothing more important than getting promotion to the Beazer Homes Midland Division and bringing a better standard of football to Gresley.”
“But Wembley is waiting at the end of the FA Vase trail and getting there is a dream we’d all love to come true. It was a huge disappointment to me when we went out in the Fourth Round to the eventual runners-up, Warrington last season in a game I thought we should have won. I’d love to do better and go all the way this time, But it’s along way off yet.”
