A Message To The Fans From The Club and Supporters Club
2021/22 has been a great season for Gresley Rovers, regardless of the results in the final few matches. Having suffered for a while, we were given a glimpse of the future last season in the curtailed year and this year it has really built into a special feeling around the club again, with Abbo and everyone on the playing and coaching staff really connecting with the fans and the crowds having returned again.
With this in mind, we wanted to send a thank you from all at the club and supporters club, and remind people that with a couple of very big away days remaining, win lose or draw we are all representing the club. At Skegness and Long Eaton tensions on the pitch may be there but off the pitch we must be aware that our behaviour, actions and demeanor is also representing Gresley Rovers and give a vocal but fair atmosphere, show respect to our hosts and most of all remember to enjoy the occasions.

The clubs we are visiting are not used to away followings in the numbers that we travel in and if there are any reported issues, the club could be fined heavily, which takes away money from the coffers towards both the new ground and the playing budget going forward. Let's keep the feel good factor and cheer the team on, the boost they get from hearing you is huge.

Thank you from all involved at Gresley Rovers
