Statement from Gresley Rovers Chairman Mark Alflat. “The Club are delighted to announce that a full planning application has now been submitted for the Club’s move to a new stadium.
Combining football, boxing and education, this will be a centre of excellence for South Derbyshire and the culmination of much planning and hard work particularly by the Club’s vice Chairman Peter Robinson.
We have the support of various bodies and will announce more in the following weeks.
In the meantime, I invite all Gresley supporters to come and roar Gresley Rovers on as we push for promotion this season. On Saturday we play Long Eaton United at home in a top of the table clash.”
