Testimony Match put back
The testimony game for long serving player Richard Wardle has been put back 24hrs.
Manchester United's televised Eurpean Champions League semi-final is live on TV on Wednesday 24th April and so Richard's game against Notts County has been re-arranged for Thursday 25th April.Chairman Mark Evans said: "Notts County are happy with the arrangement and we want as many fans as possible to attend This will give any United fans the chance to watch both games.
"I'm personally very disappointed as it looks like I will not be there because I have a business meeting in Holland that day.
"I have been organising the game for the last 2 years and I very much wanted to be there to celebrate with Richard and to see some of the old Gresley players that the supporters have told me about.
"Richard has been very loyal to Gresley Rovers. He has been with the club 11 years and has made over 500 apperances so I'm very disappointed to have to miss the evening."
