New Player Signing
Manager Gavin Hurren confirms Two more from last season’s squad commits for the upcoming 2019/20 season.
Gresley FC can confirm defenders Jacob Sturgess and Joe Haines have put pen to paper for the 2019/2020 campaign.Jacob a very strong and committed defender who learnt his trade as a youngster at Burton Albion before wearing the jersey for a host of teams such as Kettering Town, Carlton Town, Kidsgrove Athletic and Bedworth United.
Joe Haines a very exciting left back with great potential- his Previous clubs include Bromsgrove Sporting, Hinckley and Market Drayton.
Manager Gavin Hurren spoke to the club website on his latest two signings, “I am very happy I have secured the services of both players, Joe and Sturg carry themselves in a true professional way and show an unbelievable attitude week in week out and it spreads the right vibes around the team. Both lads have came back in great shape and I am looking forward to seeing them play this season, There was no doubt they both came to the club at a very difficult point last season with only 10 matches to go, but both showed great heart and desire in their performances and showed myself and the Club what it meant to wear the shirt of Gresley FC.”
