Hurren gets his man as Paul Sullivan Signs
Gresley FChave beaten off plenty competition from elsewhere to secure the services of prolificstriker Paul Sullivan, who has put pen to paper for the upcoming 2019/20 campaign
His Previous clubs include Chasetown, Hednesford and more recently Walsall Wood.

Paul started his career out at Chasetown where he scored a Hat trick on his debut against Loughborough Dynamo and played a massive part in the side that reached the playoff final.

Following season sully scored 16 in 30 games which brought interest from clubs from leagues higher and Hednesford Town was where Paul decided to move to.

Chasetown manager Marcus Law always kept an eye on his progress and when he saw an opportunity to bring Sully back to club he did. Where a undisclosed fee was paid and Sully didn’t disappoint where he scored 12 goals in 12 games scoring in 7 consecutive games to break a club record. Recently Paul was the key player to Walsall Wood's Double- League Title and League Cup winning side in the 2016/17 season where he scored 59 goals in 44 appearances.

Manager Gavin Hurren spoke to the club website on his latest signing “Signing Sully, shows the intent of the club in how they are fully determined to have a successful season. Understandably, lots of clubs from Steps 3 & 4 were in pursuit of his services but after numerous meetings between myself and Paul he has decided Gresley FC is the place for him. Sully is a player that excites me and he is a player that can produce pure magic, in my opinion I believe we have the best striker in the league and I am looking forward to working with Paul once again.

Sully is another piece of the jigsaw we are putting together and he will also play a major part in the development of the younger players in the team. I am sure everyone at Gresley FC will welcome him and with the performances I know he can produce will soon be a fans favourite”

Everyone at Gresley FC would like to welcome Paul.
