Alby Takes Two
At the recent Presentation Evening Albert Lansdowne collected two First Team Awards Supporters'Player-of-the Season and Manager's Player-of-the-Season.
Thank you so much to everyone who turned out for the Gresley FC awards and made it a great evening.

A massive congratulations to players Albert Lansdowne and Kane Lee who collected the awards.

Manger Gavin Hurren said, “I want to say a massive congratulations to both lads they fully deserve their awards. For such young guys to have produced performances that they did, and act in such a professional and mature manor, in such a tough and at times unpleasant season, is a full credit to themselves and showed me that these boys are ready to play and fight for my team and Gresley Fc going forward.

"We move on from last season that now is the in the past and we all move forward together as a club in a positive way. I believe having players with the same professionalism and “never say die” attitude like Alby and Kane have shown alongside the rest of the squad we are assembling, I know we will get the Moat Ground rocking again.

Well done again boys for your awards now it’s time to work even harder and kick on next season.”

For the reserves, McKlane Durdey also took two awards winning the Players' Player-of-the-Season along with the Managers' Player-of-the-Season.

Top goalscorer for the Reserves went to Harry Heartfield.

Todd Foster and Richard Jarvis were given a token of appreciation for their highly successful management of the Reserve Team as they step down from their roles.
