Gaz Norton's Reserve Team News
The Reserves were in action last Saturday and a 3-1 win saw us record our 5th straight win in an entertaining game against Highgate Utd.
John Jenkinson gave us a dream start in the 1st few minutes after he coolly slotted home after being released through on goal from an Alex Hemming pass. Hemming was again the provider on the ¼ hour when the midfielders left foot shot rebounded off the post and Jenko was on hand to score his second goal of the afternoon. Highgate were allowed back into the game when Paul Grosse was adjudged to have pushed his opponent in the penalty area. Jermaine Clarke fired the resultant spot kick past Mark Sheils in the Rovers goal.Mykey Pryce came off the bench to wrap up the points with an excellent finish with 10 minutes remaining.
