Gavin will be in attendance at today’s game at Cleethorpes
Gresley FC Chairman Mark Alflat commenting on the appointment said “We received a total of 17 applications for the position which we were really pleased with and took a great deal of time last weekend in discussing who we would shortlist for interview which in its own right was very difficult given the calibre of many of the applicants. Those we interviewed impressed us greatly but the panel saw a number of standout qualities during Gavin’s interview that impressed to the point that the panel unanimously agreed that we would be the club to give Gavin his first opportunity to make his mark as a manager in his own right”
