Gresley face their longest trip of the season when they travel to Northumberland to face league leaders Morpeth Town in what is the first of three back to back away games.
Next Saturday (27th Oct) was originally a blank weekend but the gap has now been filled following last week’s FA Trophy exit at the hands of Newcastle Town. Gresley will now travel to face Spalding United in a game brought forwards from January 5th before travelling to Carlton Town in the Integro League Cup 2nd round on Weds 31st October.
Team news top scorer Martin Smyth returns to the squad after missing last week's defeat to Newcastle Town but Jamie Barrett’s absence for family reasons continues. Ben Allsop looks set to continue in goal as Jack Livesey’s back problem continues to see him sidelined. Matt Roome, Dexter Morris Clarke, Ryan King, Carl Slater, Zaki Evans and Connor Ward all miss the trip through injury, illness or unavailability.
