Coates back at the Moat

Midfielder Steve Coates has returned to the Moat Ground.
Manager John McGinlay said; "I'm delighted. We have signed a Premier Division player and it's good news for the club."

"I didn't want him to leave in the first place because he was my player of the year last season. He has done well at Hinckley, but he wanted to return to the area for personal reasons. He is likely to be in the frame for Saturday's trip to Chippenham as the midfield is one area I felt needed strengthening."

"I was hoping Jake Fairbrother would play on Saturday but I don't think he will be ready in time. I don't want to rush him and risk losing him for the rest of the season because we have some very important game coming up."

"I am confident, however, that he will play some part in the Cirencester game at the Moat Ground next Wednesday."
