Doors open at 12 noon with the first on pitch action of the afternoon being some junior team action. We then have a game between Gresley FC supporters club and their Burton Albion counterparts (KO 2pm) in which both mascots (Elvis Gresley and Billy Brewer) should be making an appearance at the Moat Ground.

Around 3pm the main event will see a host of ex Gresley Rovers and Gresley FC legends going back decades making an appearance in a re-union game. As well as ex-players for all era’s the club are specifically hoping for appearances from a few of the Gresley Rovers 1991 FA Vase Wembley team and, the 1997 Southern league title winners as well as the more recent 2011 East Midlands Counties and 2012 Midland Alliance title winning sides.

If you are in contact or know of any ex-players who you think might like to take part please make sure they get the message. All ex player’s (and their families) are welcome on the day where it is hoped the majority of those who attend are able to step out on the Moat Ground once more for the afternoons main event which will be a game kicking off at 3pm between the ex legends of the club.

The Social Club will be open throughout the afternoon and there will be plenty of drinks and hot food available during the afternoon and some other events and attractions aside from the football.
