Weston-super-Mare pre-match news
Leading scorer Chris Parkins will be unavailable for tomorrow’s game against Weston-super-Mare giving a golden opportunity for Chris White to make the starting line up.
White scored his first senior goal after coming on as substitute during Wednesday’s 2-2 draw with Sutton Coldfield Town. He scored his first goal playing in the reserves against Bilston Town last Saturday.

Matt Moran also played in the Sutton game and could also be vying for a start after laying on the chance for White.

Another of the promising young players James Lewsley will provide John McGinlay with a selection headache after playing well in his last two senior starts at left back. The usual holder of that position, Andy Cheetham, is coming back to his early season form and helped change the game midweek.

McGinlay said: “ I felt James Lewsley was very unlucky to be pulled off on Wednesday but we needed to go to three at the back and I felt Cheets was more experienced in that formation. I don’t know what formation we will play tomorrow but I do know that Weston are a very attacking side and have some dangerous players.

“If we show the same commitment and attitude we showed in the second half on Wednesday I’m sure we’ll get a result.”
