A Big Thank You From The Management
Wednesday brought us to the end of quite a successful season during which we have made big strides along the road to what will hopefully be a championship winning season next time around.
The credit for the successes this season is spread throughout the club in many different ways and we as a management team just wanted to express our thanks to the large number of people associated with Gresley FC that have helped along the way. First to the Players - You all deserve a massive amount of credit for all of your hard work and effort throughout the season. Your efforts to push the club on to another level made our job even easier to get the best out in you as an individual and a team collectively. It has been an absolute pleasure to have the chance to work with you all.
Second to the Chairman and Board of Directors - The belief that you gave us through the season helped us to believe in ourselves as a management team in at the time which were very difficult circumstances. You believed in us and we can only thank you for that.
Third our magnificent fans - your loyal support did not go un-noticed throughout the season, home and away you turned up and cheered us on. We would like to think you have enjoyed watching a winning team (most of the time) that tries to play attractive attacking football. We need the same next season from you along with new fans that we hope that we can gain with the style of football that we try and play. We want to raise the roof of the Moat next season and we encourage you all to bring a mate along to the games to help spur us on.
Fourth - Any other person connected with the club, Matt Dingle, the tea ladies, the ball boys, bar staff and helpers. Your efforts for the club are brilliant. We can only ask that you give us the same amount off effort next season as you have this. You are a credit to Gresley FC.
The hard work starts now for us we are talking to the current group of players with regards to next season and are also in the process of speaking with a number of potential targets to add to the squad to hopefully make next season another great success. We will not be complacent and will be making sure during pre-season that we set the players new demands, goals and expectant achievements.
For now enjoy your summer and we look forward to seeing you all again very soon.
