Barwell Pre-Match News
Gresley take to the road again tonight as they visit Evo-Stik NPL Premier outfit Barwell in the 2nd round of the Doodson Sport Cup - 7.45pm.
Defender Matt Roome will again be missing after having six stitches in a leg wound he received as a result of a nasty tackle from Dan Cope in the Moat Ground draw against Stafford Rangers. The injury will probably see him out for a further two weeks.Recent signings Jake Carlisle and Chris Richards are both likely to feature as manager Wayne Thornhill shuffles his squad.
The game is played to a finish tonight with penalties if the scores are level after ninety minutes.
The winners will make the long journey to take on Spalding United with the game scheduled for Tuesday 13th January.
