Leek Town Pre-Match News
Gresley manager Wayne Thornhill will have some difficult decisions to make as his side meet one of the league title favourites Leek Town at the Moat Ground tomorrow - 3pm.
After using some of the fringe players at Belper midweek in the Derbyshire Senior Cup his side's scintillating performance when they totally outplayed their higher league opponents, means he's now got a dilemma of who he picks for the Leek game.At least Thornhill will have a full squad to choose from with only Matt Roome (leg) and long term absentee John Guy being the only players not to make the game.
Roome suffered a nasty gash on his leg, which required stitches, following a very poor tackle against Stafford Rangers and Guy is still awaiting a scan on his knee which has kept him out of the squad since the middle of September.
Mitch Hanson and Alex Steadman should both return to the squad as should recent signing Chris Richards who was ineligible for the Belper game.
Leek will arguably provide the toughest test so far for Gresley and the Moatmen will be hoping that the form at the Moat Ground and the great support they've had will continue as they've dropped just four points out of the 11 league games so far this season.
