Romulus Pre-Match News
It's Trophy day at the Moat tomorrow when Gresley take on Romulus in the 1st Qualifying Round. Kick off 3pm.
Although Gresley had a comfortable win against Romulus four weeks ago at Coles Lane manager Wayne Thornhill is not treating this game lightly and will be preparing for a tough match.Thornhill only has one doubt with Luke Edwards suffering a hamstring injury on Tuesday against Sheffield. Edwards was substituted just before half time but Thornhill is hoping he can play some part.
"I must admit its touch and go," said Thornhill. "Luke has come in for treatment but we'll have to assess it again on Saturday. If he's not fit we'll have another plan for the game."
Thornhill may include young striker Callum Riddell in the squad after recovering from a broken wrist.
Should tomorrow's game end in a draw the replay will be on Tuesday evening at Coles Lane, Sutton Coldfield and not on Romulus's usual midweek day of Monday.
