New Ground Funding
At a board meeting of Gresley FC directors last night (Wednesday) it was confirmed that the planning application for the St Modwen's development in Church Gresley had been approved.
As part of the developer obligations for the site approval is a significant sum for Gresley FC's community football club to contribute to a new stadium. In order for the club to understand the full details and requirements of the use of the sum involved we will be meeting with South Derbyshire District Council in a fortnight and will announce a fans forum date shortly afterwards.
In the meantime we will immediately examine other funding streams to add to the contribution. We will use all our energies to now make the dream of a new stadium a reality.
